Follow the trail directly ahead of your parked vehicle a quater of a mile about a 5 minute walk to the zip line. Take your time stop and look around hug a tree some are huge and old. Be respectful it is an honor to be in their presence. The trail is hand carved with picks and shovels in order to maintain the true essence of the valley. Tufts of moss cover the trees, native plants, ferns, berries, and delicate flowers spread throughout the forest floor. Professionally rebuilt and renickled this ornate antiquity maintains both its value and usefullness while adding a certain ambiance and glow. Exterior logs are log oiled and rope chinked with a new roof and skylights recently replaced. Every effort and care has been made to protect and enhance the natural beauty and structure of the building.

The upper Dungeness is 51/2 miles long and rated as a class 3 by the American White Water Society. Beginning from Two Forks Campground to the Dungeness Fish Hatchery. For the truly adventurist you can extend the trip by beginning at Gold Creek viewing 1200ft. of river and property frontage all the way to the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
Situated at the base of the trail to the property lies Two Forks Campground. It is the only official camp ground within the Dungeness Watershed. With limited tent sites nestled amongst 200 ft. Fishermen are not just drawn to this wild river for the Steel Head and Cut throat trout. Surrounded by magnificient old growth virgin cedars and fir trees bald eagles is a true deep wilderness experience. Fishing amongst old virgin growth forest for Steel head and Cutthroat trout.
